BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE
The best experience in my life starts from the moment when my flight touched down at KLIA four years ago. I went to KL alone to pursue my A Level after my SPM all the way from Sarawak. It is definitely a new life for me as there is no one beside me and I have to be independent to settle everything in an unfamiliar environment.
ROLE FOR FIRST PROJECT - accuracy coach
As an accuracy coach, I always make sure that my team members understand the ways to play our board game and rules and regulations that we set for our board game. I always make sure that our board game is related to the three subjects that are set by our lecturer which are KRD, PSLP and CPDIC. I also make sure that there is no contradiction in our board game so that our game can be played smoothly. In this project, my contribution is re-inovating the boardgame and developing questions.
ROLE FOR SECOND PROJECT
For this 2nd project, I am working together with Kliff and Ardany. I am also in-charge of doing the anaerobic digestion for the literature survey. I try to understand the conversion of mass balance as it is the beginning step before planning to draw for PFD. After PFD, I need to determine the transfer function and manipulated variable before proceeding with P & ID and HAZOP.
REFLECTION ON KRD
So far for this subject, I would say that Dr Suzana has done a great job. She is one of the few lecturers in UTP who always make sure that we understand what she has taught. She always wants us to pass up the example that she has taught in the class during the end of the class. I understand that her intention is she wants to make sure that we had written and learnt something from her class. She will not briefly go through any topic just to catch up with the syllabus. Therefore she is definitely one of the best lecturers I have met from my first year until now. However, I hope that the tutorial session for this subject can be improved to become better. Tutorial class should be a class where the tutor explains to us about the question but not just show us the question and ask us to solve it ourselves. I hope that all the lecturers can show us the answer for tutorial and assignment in the class or post in e-learning. This is because without the answer, sometime we don’t even know whether we answer the question correctly or not.
We cannot deny that Dr. Tazli is one of the best lecturers in UTP. The way he teaches us is never practices by any other lecturers that teach us before. The way he gives lecture through video is very good as it is easy for us to study at anytime and we can repeat over and over again. Moreover, the project that he gave us is really make us brainstorming and also prepares us to face the challenges in the future. For example the second project which has to design a reactor, it helps us to understand what is happening in the industry and what we have to do in the future as a chemical engineer. Furthermore, Dr. Tazli also let us do some example question in the class in order to make sure that we understand the topic that he taught. Through this way, it really helps us in solving the question no matter in the exam or in the future.

REFLECTION ON CPDIC
This subject, CPDIC is the hardest subject for me among these three subjects. However, Dr Abbas is really a great lecturer. He always explains everything in detail but as what he said, what he teaches is just the basic and we must try to do the question. I wish I have time to do all the questions that he asked us to do and also read all the books that he recommend to us. But honestly speaking, I totally have no time for that because I have too many works to do such as assignment and project. Another thing is that the tutorial for this subject really helps me a lot. The tutor is very good as they will teach us until we fully understand the question. Furthermore, the assignment given by Dr Abbas for every chapter also helps me to understand this subject better.
CPDIC is still the hardest subject for me among these three subjects. However, Dr. Haslinda did a great job. She is a lecturer that really cares about us and we can see it during the class. The way she conduct the quiz is also very good. Other than that, the quiz questions that she prepared are very detail and through the quiz we can understand the whole chapter more.

REFLECTION ON PSLP
Dr Zulkarnain is also one of the best lecturers I have met in UTP. He consistently prints out the slides for us every time before he start the class. Another thing is that there will always be an assignment for us before he end the class and this assignment do help me a lot. By solving the assignment, it can really help me in understanding what he has taught in the class. He will always move around the class just to make sure everyone can solve the problem and he will also come to me and ask me is there any problem for the question. I would say that Dr Zulkarnain is a great lecturer.
Dr. Zulkarnain is one of the best lecturers I have met in UTP. From the first day I met him until now, whenever I asked his help for anything, he will definitely help me without hesitation. Although what I asked is nothing about this subject which is something about my project and club activities, he will still accept my request. I would say that Dr. Zulkarnain is a great lecturer.

REFLECTION OF THE BOARDGAME
The concept of our board game “Train to Reactor” is based on one of the very popular board game named as “Ticket to Ride”. My group mate, Kliff Yoong and I come out with this idea because we played “Ticket to Ride” recently and I would like to thanks every member in my group for supporting our idea. It is definitely not an easy task to relate this board game to the three subjects. However, we managed to come out with an idea on how our board game “Train to Reactor” should be play. Creating this board game is definitely not easy because there are a lot of components we have to prepare such as over 200 wooden stick we need to cut as the train in the game and over 100 cards have to be printed. Again I would like to thanks my group member for the cooperation and the hard work that they gave for this project. From this project, I learnt that teamwork is very important and as a member in a team, we must make sure that we are not delaying other people and must give full commitment in order to complete our project.
REFLECTION ON THE QUESTIONS POSTED FOR KRD IN THE BOARDGAME
There are a lot of questions about KRD in our board game. Before the players start the game, they have to solve the reactor sizing problem in order for them to choose which reactor to pass through. As long as the player has some basic knowledge about reactor sizing, they will be able to solve the question. We also prepare some high level thinking question for KRD in our board game. I believe that it will be fun when the players are playing the game.
REFLECTION ON THE QUESTIONS POSTED FOR CPDIC IN THE BOARDGAME
Compare with the other two subjects, it will be harder to prepare CPDIC question for our board game. This is because CPDIC is more to deriving equation and mass and energy balance. We did not set the difficulty of CPDIC question too high because we worry that the player will take long time to answer the question and made other players feel bored.
REFLECTION ON THE QUESTIONS POSTED FOR PSLP IN THE BOARDGAME
We do prepare questions for this subject which consists of theory and calculation. I believe that the player might need a text book beside him or her in order to solve the questions unless he or she is very good in this subject.
reflection on the 2nd group project
This project require us to design a reactor that use in the industry and as a future chemical engineer, I would say that this project will definitely help me in the future. Through this project, we can know that what to be consider when we want to design a reactor and how can we achieve the objective. This is a project that combines all the three subjects and this help us to understand more about the role of each subject in the reactor design. I would say that this type of combination project is very good for us as a student.
